The North Country Bird Club, Inc. is a member of the New York State Ornithological Association and is affiliated with the National Audubon Society.


The North Country Bird Club is a non-profit organization committed to educating and improving its members awareness of the vast variety of bird species in the North Country. The club's mission is to provide the opportunity to observe and identify bird species in their natural environment. All levels of bird watchers are encouraged to join and share their birding experiences.


New Item for January 2010

Calling all Birders! The DEC is looking for volunteers to help survey for short eared owls in the Cape Vincent area. The surveys will take place between January 4th through the 8th and the 19th through the 22nd from approximately 3:30pm until 5:15pm. Surveys will be road side counts. Anyone interested should contact Scott Sherwood at (315) 639-6122 Ext. 221 or Irene Mazzocchi at Ext. 201.
